California YouTuber Sets World Record With 534 ‘Polly Pocket’ Toys

A California content creator known online as Kerchie has earned a Guinness World Record for owning the largest Polly Pocket collection, which includes 534 miniature dolls and playsets. Kerchie began collecting the toys in late 2019 after turning 30 years old. “I was feeling very nostalgic, thinking about my childhood, all the fun toys I used to have … and one toy that was always in the back of my mind was Polly Pockets,” she told Guinness World Records. The YouTuber had previously owned Polly Pockets as a child but gave them away when she outgrew them. She explained her continued passion for the toys: “Something about them just makes me so happy, like no other toy has.” Kerchie plans to keep expanding her collection and advises others: “If I can go back in time and tell myself one thing, it would be to not give your Polly Pockets away.” (Story URL)
