Rock Quick Hits: The White Stripes, The Hives, Incubus + More!

Swedish rockers The Hives announced Monday (April 2nd) that they will release their first studio album in over a decade, The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons, on August 11th. The music video for lead single, “Bogus Operandi,” is out now.

Incubus guitarist Michael Einziger is launching a skin-related biotech company. According to The PRP, the guitarist and his wife, Ann Marie, will introduce their ‘anti-aging skincare brand’ called Mother Science on May 9th.

The White Stripes are releasing a 300-page hard-cover book containing all their song lyrics. Consequence reports that the book will include Jack White’s lyrics from their first album in 1997 to their last, 2007’s Icky Thump. The book will be available on October 3rd.
