Bret Michaels told The Oakland Press that he intends to regroup Poison during 2025 for more touring and possibly some new songs. Their last album of original material, Hollyweird came out in 2002. And their most recent recording was an all-covers album called Poison’d, which was released in 2007.

While promoting his solo tour he talked about his love of his work and said, “I’ve embraced the changes. I didn’t fight the digital world. I didn’t say ‘no’ when they asked me to play country festivals. I’m sincere. I’m passionate. I’m a fan of music.”

Poison spent last summer on the road with as part of the Motley Crue and Def Leppard stadium tour.
