Driver Tries To Use Monopoly ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ Card During Traffic Stop

A motorist in Fullerton attempted to use a Monopoly “Get Out of Jail Free” card when pulled over for a traffic violation. Police posted about the unusual encounter on social media after the driver handed the board game card to an officer. Police said the officer found humor in the creative approach but explained that while originality was appreciated, the card had no legal value. The driver received an actual citation instead. Officers advised the motorist to keep the Monopoly card “for a rainy day” before letting him go.
