Bruce Springsteen co-wrote and lent his vocals on a single by New Jersey rock band, Gaslight Anthem.

Frontman, Brian Fallon spoke about the two of them writing the song, he said, “When Bruce Springsteen said ‘I should write a duet for us,’ I think my head exploded. It will never get old to me that one of the greatest songwriters in the world, and one of my hero’s voices, will forever be captured in a song.”

“History Books” is the band’s first single from the album with the same title, due October 27.
