Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Performs With London Cover Band

Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong hopped on stage to join London cover band Borderline Toxic on Saturday night for a performance of Green Day’s 1994 hit “Basket Case.” The performance took place at a dive bar called Slim Jim’s Liquor Store in London.
The band posted footage of the performance, along with caption, “The moment your band gets joined on stage by your childhood idol to sing their own song with you… in your favourite dive bar!! Billie Joe Armstrong… @greenday !! THANK YOU, YOU LEGEND! 🔥 This was the first band to get me into rock when I was 11 years old and I’m honestly just so made up.”
