Paramore's New Album #1 On Five Different Charts

With the release of This Is Why, Paramore has top five different Billboard charts and their response was "This is Bananas!"

The band now leads as top Alternative Album, Rock album, Album Sales, Vinyl Album, and Digital Album They also charted at #2 on the Billboard 200.

Posting an image of the chart positions, Paramore thanked their fans and wrote: "We know enough by now to know success doesn't equal value."

Paramore is currently on tour with Taylor Swift.

Joe Perry To Embark On Solo Tour This Spring

Aerosmith's Joe Perry is taking his solo project on the road.

The guitarist announced Wednesday (February 22nd) that The Joe Perry Project will play a handful of gigs in North America this April, starting in Mashantucket, CT on April 15th and concluding in Los Angeles, CA on April 16th.

Tickets go on sale Friday (February 24th).

Amy Lee recently joined Bush on stage in Nashville.

The Evanescence singer accompanied the band at the Ryman Theater on Monday (February 20th) for the song "1000 Years."

Gavin Rossdale shared a few photos to Instagram Tueday (February 21st), and he included the following message: "well that was a blast.what a magical night.thankyou @amylee you elevated us to new galaxies.what a thrill."

Lee added on her own Instagram, "I was deeply inspired by their music as I was dreaming of forming my own band. If 13 year old me saw a glimpse of last night she would have absolutely DIED."

Bush is currently on the road through May 23rd.

Guns N' Roses Announce Massive World Tour

On Tuesday, February 21, Guns N' Roses announced an extensive world tour that includes 37 dates across the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

The global trek is slated to kick off on June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel and they'll be in North America in August with shows scheduled in Boston, Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, St. Louis, Houston, San Diego, Phoenix and several other cities.

The Axl Rose-led group will wrap October 16, in Vancouver.

Ticket presales are available now and all general sales start on Friday, February 24.

Travis Barker Injures Finger Again

Travis Barker has injured his finger again.

For the second time this month, the Blink-182 drummer showed a photo of his wounded hand. This time, the Instagram Story showed the lumpy, misshapen ring finger with the caption, "again." He followed it up with an additional Story showing the X-ray of his broken digit.

On February 8th, Barker revealed his initial injury. He tweeted tweeted, "I was playing drums at rehearsals yesterday and smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments."

Matty Heafy shared a snippet of his collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly's touring guitarist, Sophie Lloyd.

The Trivium frontman wrote on Instagram, "Sophie Lloyd is an immensely talented force of a musician and songwriter. I recall first seeing Sophie's guitar playing online and being truly blown away – so having been a fan of Sophie's for several years, I was honored when asked to guest on an upcoming track.

Steve Vai claims he is "siting on a whole Ozzy Osbourne record."

The two worked together on a song for the 1995 release Ozzmosis but ended up recording much more.

In a brand new interview with Eonmusic, the Whitesnake guitarist revealed, "Ozzy and I got carried away because we were having a lot of fun, and we ended up recording a lot of stuff, and then we started scheming, 'Hey, let's make a new record.' And all that was fine and good, and we got excited about it until the hammer came down, and they basically said, 'What are you doing? No, you've just got to take a song from Vai and finish your record."

Vai added, "I don't have any control over it or rights to it, obviously, but we did record some pretty good stuff."

Ultimately, his only credit on the Ozzmosis album is as a co-writer on "My Little Man."

Peter Murphy To Lead The 'Celebrating David Bowie' Tour

Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy will hit the road in April to front the Celebrating David Bowie tour.

Rolling Stone reports he'll be joined by guitarist Adrian Belew, Spacehog's Royston Langdon, a Perfect Circle bassist Matt McJunkins, guitarist Scrote, Devo/A Perfect Circle drummer Jeff Friedl, saxophonist Ron Dziubla and guitarist Eric Schermerhorn.

It kicks off on April 4th in Houston, Texas, and wraps up on May 8th in Tacoma, Washington.

According to a press release, this year's show will "interpret Bowie's greatest hits with a special emphasis on Bowie's Ziggy Stardust proto punk era, his Berlin trilogy records (Low, Heroes, and Lodger) and his later Trent Reznor infused years."

Todd Rundgren lead the 2022 incarnation of the project which began in 2017.

Foo Fighters Pay Tribute To Taylor Hawkins On His 51st Birthday

Foo Fighters paid homage to Taylor Hawkins on what would have been his 51st birthday.

On Friday (February 17th), the band shared a photo of Hawkins taken by Andreas Neumann with the simple caption, "Miss you so much."

Hawkins died on March 25th, 2022 at the age of 50.

Matt Healy mocked Yungblud in a recent Instagram story.

In the clip, The 1975 singer appeared with "EMO" written across his cheeks and spoke in an exaggerated accent, saying, "I don't stand for stuff, I stand against stuff, it's not a particular thing that I stand for, I just stand against stuff and it tends to be the most morally obvious stuff y'know that like everyone stands for… F**k the patriarchy!"

Def Leppard And Motley Crue Joke About Renting Plane Together

Def Leppard and Motley Crue are on the road together again. This time they decided to all travel in the same rented plane, but couldn't agree on who would get their name first on the side of the aircraft.

So, in a video posted online, the bandmembers all gathered to make the decision. As they all joked around, Joe Elliot flipped the coin and it landed in favor of Def Leppard. The Crue's Tommy Lee picked it up and said… "Didn't you say the best of three, right?" They all laughed when told that top billing had to pay more.

At one point they joked about naming the plane… Def Crue. One thing for sure, the two super groups are having a great time hanging out together.

Shows are currently scheduled through mid-August and all concerts that month include special guest, Alice Cooper.

Richie Sambora Reveals Plans To Reunite With Bon Jovi

Richie Sambora revealed in a recent interview with Absolute Radio, that he may soon be returning to Bon Jovi. He said, he and frontman Jon Bon Jovi hold "no malice" towards each other.

Citing Jon's vocal ability as a hold back, he explained, "I don't know when Jon's going to get his voice together, but it's going to happen. I don't think there's any reason not to at this point."

Of their success he said, "We did something… There's not a lot of bands that did what we did."

As far as recording new material with Bon Jovi himself, Sambora quipped: "Oh, if he doesn't let me, he's crazy. I'm on a tear."

Sambora performed with Bon Jovi for exactly 30 years – from the band's inception in 1983 up until 2013. He said, at the time, he left because - "family had to come first."

He briefly reunited with the band in 2018 and performed at their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

The statement continued, "Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."

Over the weekend, Fox hinted at a breakup and quoted a Beyonce song and posted: "You can taste the dishonesty. It's all over your breath." Afterwards, she deactivated her account.

People.com reported earlier this week that friends close to them say Fox had taken off her engagement ring, however, they are speaking and trying to work things out.

Paramore Drops New Video For 'Running Out Of Time'

On Thursday (Feb. 16) Paramore released a new music video for "Running Out of Time." It starts with singer Hayley Williams alone in a studio, trying to write a song. As time goes by she ends up in an alternate dimension.

In a recent interview, Williams said the song was inspired by her friendship with Taylor Swift, who she's now on the road with.

This marks the third video from Paramore's sixth and most recent album, This Is Why.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have tied Foo Fighters for the most top 10s in the history of Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart, as "The Drummer" rises to No. 10 for the ranking dated February 18th.

The song becomes the band's 28th top 10.

According to Billboard, RHCP previously held the record alone but the Foos tied it at 25 in 2020 and surpassed it in 2021.

In an interview with Apple Music, Coldplay's Chris Martin spoke about Rihanna's talent and said, "You have to be an idiot not to recognize that she's the best singer of all time."

Martin has performed with her a few times but says he doesn't know her very well and that he was speaking "mainly as a fan."

Coldplay worked with Rihanna on her track "Love On The Brain" and then in 2011 for their album, Mylo Xyloto on the song "Princess of China."

Ahead of her big game performance, Martin said, "I think she could just walk out in sweatpants and sing, and that would be just great."

Metallica Donates $250,000 For Turkey Earthquake Relief

Once again Metallica is stepping up to the plate with their charitable donations. The band announced their "All Within My Hands'" foundation has donated $250,000 for Turkey earthquake relief.

The band posted a message on their social media, which reads:

We're at a loss for words to describe the devastation in southern Turkey and northern Syria. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake has reduced the entire region to rubble. The death toll continues to rise, tragically exceeding 36,000 lives lost.

Two of our @allwithinmyhandsfoundation's partner organizations, @directrelief and @wckitchen, have boots on the ground providing medical aid and food to the victims of this disaster. #AWMH is providing $125k grants to each organization to support their relief efforts.
