The 99th running of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb has released the top fifteen qualifiers following three days of qualifying runs on Pikes Peak. Drivers representing the best of the six racing divisions have been recognized as the first annual “Fast 15”.

Qualifying sessions wrapped up for The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with the Unlimited and Time Attack 1 divisions focused on laying down some fast runs, but the mountain had other plans. Due to the adverse conditions, competitors made only a few runs.

It’s Race Week on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. Pikes Peak Open competitors in The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, qualified yesterday. All three sections of the course were open to drivers making their early morning practice runs.

In 2020, the challenge was different, but the team behind Mobil 1 synthetic worked closely with the organizers of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb to connect fans across the world like never before.

The 99th running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb will culminate on the summit of Pikes Peak on June 27th with the Parade of Champions. The car chosen to lead the drivers back down the 12.42 mile course at the conclusion of the event is the 2021 BMW M3 Competition.

With 156 turns on The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race course, many locations and corners were named over the years so they could be used as reference points. Most have documented history while others have roots in local lore.

A pair of race-prepped Acura TLX Type S sport sedans will make their racing debut as Acura returns to The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, with multiple race entries piloted and crewed by the company’s R&D engineers. This year the performance brand will have four production-based race cars competing in the 99th running of Colorado’s “Race to the Clouds” on June 27, challenging the 12.42-mile 156-turn mountain course.

The 99th running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb kicks off on Sunday, June 13 at Gold Hill Mesa’s Music on the Mesa in Colorado – a free family event, open to the public.

Acura’s new 2021 TLX Type S, will pace the 99th running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Driving the TLX Type S pace car will be television personality Ant Anstead.
