During a performance on BBC Radio 2, Bono let everyone know that he and U2 are all big fans of ABBA. He said “I didn’t have the courage to own up to it when I was 16 and in the middle of punk rock.” He went on to thank ABBA for their music.

And before doing a slow version of “S.O.S.” The Edge called them “great songwriters,” and said their music “grew on him over the years.”
