To hear Tenacious D tell it, hard rock music is dead and they plan to resurrect it. That's no joke. Chattanooga, TN – The Pulse:

Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl continues to post videos of his Hanukkah Sessions cover series.

A clip from Pink performing “Get the Party Started” has been a favorite this week among his fans.

Each year he teams with friend/musician/producer Greg Kurstin to put on a concert to celebrate the life and work of Jewish musicians and cover their music. The two of them also backed Kurstin’s bandmate Inara George to perform a 70’s classic from 10cc called “The Things We Do For Love.” As a bonus, Tenacious D’s Jack Black added background harmony. Earlier this week they did a version of Blood, Sweat & Tears’ “Spinning Wheel.”

The performances were recently taped in front of a small live audience in Los Angeles. More are expected to be released this week. You can find them on the Foo Fighters Twitter page.
